TecnoCampus, UPF and Aquahotel recognize the best academic records of new undergraduate students

The Talent scholarships have a long history at Pompeu Fabra University, and for some years now they have also been awarded at the TecnoCampus in recognition of the best academic records among all students new to undergraduate studies.

This year, they wanted to take advantage of the award ceremony of these grants to deliver the University-Business scholarships. In the latter case, the economic endowment comes from the Aquahotel company, and is awarded to the two best first-year records of the double degree in Tourism and Leisure Management and Business Administration and Innovation Management.

The event took place last week. Scholarship students and their families filled the Graduation Room in an act in which the mayor of Mataró and president of the TecnoCampus, David Bote, intervened; the general director of TecnoCampus, Josep Lluís Checa; the deputy vice chancellor to the chancellor of Pompeu Fabra University, David Sancho; and the president of the board of directors of Aquahotel, Joaquim Pons.

All of them highlighted that the scholarships reward the effort made in the pre-university stage and in the first year of the University, and demonstrate the willingness to recognize excellence on the part of companies and institutions. The scholarships consist of a discount on the tuition price.
