Tebas attacks Laporta again for his defense of the Super League

The president of LaLiga, Javier Tebas has come out again, through social networks, to defend the Impulse League, based on the clubs' agreement with CVC, as a result of the umpteenth criticism of the Barça president's project, Joan Laporta, in the assembly of compromisers of the Barça entity.

"We did not see it well, it is very respectable, but we do not consider it recommendable," said the Barcelona president about the LaLiga proposal, which involved the sale of television rights for 50 years and that Barça finally ruled out after trying to negotiate some terms of the agreement, such as the duration of the sale of the rights. Subsequently, the Catalan club sold 25% of its television rights for 25 years to Sixth Street, an agreement that was ratified this Sunday by the delegates.

On the other hand, he defended once again in the assembly the creation of the Super League, a project in this case that LaLiga opposes. "European football has a negative dynamic of attendance at stadiums and television monitoring. We must add the distortion of state clubs, with unlimited resources to assume fair play. They clearly destabilize," Laporta said about the need for the new competition to fight against the club-states.

"Dear Joan Laporta, remember that in the Impulso plan (CVC) only 15% is allocated to debt, 65% to infrastructure to grow ALL clubs, including FC Barcelona," Tebas wrote on his official Twitter account along with a phrase of the culé leader collected by Mundo Deportivo and an image of a humorous vignette.

Pachi Idígoras, on April 21 in Diario Sur, humorously reflected what the Superliga entails", Tebas concluded his message in reference to the illustration, where the protagonist is a caricatured Florentino Pérez.

"I'm here to save football... The money I earn will go to the other clubs. I'll be able to pay for the new stadium, the renovation of Ramos, the transfer of Mbappé and the signing of a youth from Málaga... We all came out winning!!!, says ironically in the vignette the president of Real Madrid, the main promoter of the Super League.
