Susana Camarero offers help with immigrants but demands transparency from Sánchez

The Second Vice President and Minister of Social Services, Equality and Housing of the Generalitat of Valencia announced this afternoon that she has requested the Government to immediately convene the Sectoral Immigration Conference. In parallel, she has stressed that she provides collaboration and cooperation on these issues "but we ask the government for transparency and rigorous information."

The Government delegate in the Valencian Community, Pilar Bernabé, assured this Thursday that the Valencian Community will welcome some 350 migrants from the Canary Islands, but has insisted that this figure is "dynamic and changing" given the continuous arrival of cayucos to the islands.

In statements to journalists in Alicante, Bernabé stated that the Canary Islands "need the support of the autonomous communities and, without a doubt, will have it with respect to the work that corresponds to the Government of Spain to establish a reception system" that will be carried out in a "safe, regulated and above all legal" manner.

"It is time to stop hate speeches that have nothing to do with the sensitivity and spirit of Valencians," said the Government delegate, who stressed that the entities that will host them will be those that "historically "They have been working with people who are in foster care."

Bernabé has said that he has already transmitted to the second vice president of the Consell, Susana Camarero, that figure of 350 migrants, which "is changing due to daily arrivals", while warning that work will be done "at very fast rates" to this volatility in the number of total migrants."
