The main measures adopted in the L'Eixample district for this summer are the following:
New night patrol of the Urban Guard
During the months of July and August, it is in charge of guaranteeing respect for the rules of coexistence, especially the rest of the neighborhood after the closing time of the restaurant terraces on Enric Granados street and the new green axis of the Consell of Cent.
Cleaning service washdown equipment
During the summer, the cleaning teams include washing down from Thursday to Sunday in some sections of Enric Granados street, once the terraces are closed. Specifically, the action is scheduled in the section between the streets of Mallorca and Diputació.
Inspection campaign in areas of saturation of terraces and in the new green axes
The inspections will be carried out mainly during the week and will serve to verify that the current terraces comply with the conditions of occupation of the public space. Infractions detected due to excess modules or surface and that disturb the passage will be penalized. It will also be verified that there are no terraces without a license or that have been denied.
Installation of pieces to delimit the public space that each terrace can occupy
During the month of July, metal pieces will be installed on the ground to delimit all the terraces of the green axes of the Consell de Cent, Girona, Borrell and Rocafort streets.

Posters will be distributed in Catalan, Spanish and English to remind people of the ban on making large bottles and consuming alcohol on public roads.
