Storm clouds over the Andalusian coast

Over the sea, crowned the mountains or covering the roofs of the buildings. The storm clouds have been seen on this spring day on the Andalusian coast, as can be seen in these snapshots taken in Fuengirola (Málaga) and Rota (Cádiz) for Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia.

Cloudy or overcast skies, with showers occasionally accompanied by storms and hail, more probable and intense during the afternoon and in the Baetic mountains, where they can be locally strong, opening up clear at nightfall. This was the forecast of the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) for Andalusia on this typically May day.

Minimum temperatures with little change; rising maxima, notable in the eastern interior. And, in addition, variable winds, generally weak.

In one of the photographs we can see how the clouds are accumulating over a quiet walk in El Rompidillo in Rota.

And from the port of Fuengirola we also observe how the clouds are claiming at the height of the sierra, as if they wanted to crown it like a hat.
