The presence of Bruce Springsteen in Barcelona has altered the rhythms of his staunchest followers, who since Wednesday morning have stood guard at the entrance to the La Florida hotel, on the slopes of Tibidabo, waiting for their idol to get an autograph.
This wait, sometimes long and tedious, turns into a lottery from which a few winners came out this Thursday at noon when Springsteen left the hotel to sign a few autographs for fifty people who at that time stood guard in front of the hotel, some from early in the morning.
The duration of the meeting has been fleeting due to the large number of people who have tried to approach at the same time to hunt for a souvenir of the artist, who shortly after leaving has returned to his rooms. The staunch followers of the Boss know that his idol only approaches the public when some minimum conditions of order and respect are met which, as some of the people who stood guard in front of the hotel feared, have not been met. This afternoon Springsteen is scheduled to go to the Estadi Olímpic to carry out a general rehearsal in which his wife, Patti Scialfa, who for personal reasons has not yet arrived in Barcelona, will not be present.
This is the third time that Bruce Springsteen has stayed at the La Florida hotel, a place to his liking for the tranquility it offers, especially under the protection of large congregations of fans. It is expected that the guests of the Boss, the Obama and Spielberg couples, will also stay in the luxurious establishment from which they will attend this Friday the first concert of the European tour Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band return to the road in 2023
