Sopa de Cabra and Jordi Cuixart join the concert for the 50 years of Elèctrica Dharma

The concert to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the Dharma Electric Company, which will be held on April 22 at the Palau Sant Jordi, has expanded its list of artists with the presence of Sopa de Cabra, Joan Reig, Santa Salut, Xavier Tasies, Magalí Sare, Jordi Soley, Jawad Amazingh and Gossos, who will reappear for the occasion after five years of inaction. Also participating in the act will be Jordi Cuixart, who will perform Resistir és véncer, a piece composed during his stay in the Soto del Real prison.

This cast will be added to the already confirmed Maria del Mar Bonet, Celtas Cortos, Albert Pla, The Tyets, Balkan Paradise Orchestra, Quimi Portet and Gemma Humet. A poster that, as they did at the 30th anniversary party, will be completed with performances by groups linked to popular culture such as the Castellers, the Colla Bastonera, Tabalers and Diables de Sants; the Camel of Molins de Rei; La Cobla The Principal of the Llobregat and a hundred timpani players, grallers and devils from all over Catalonia.

The Sant Jordi concert is the highlight of the year Dharma, which commemorates the veteran formation known for its fusion of traditional Catalan music, jazz and progressive rock that has given rise to pieces such as Catalluna, "People want to live in peace" or "Inana", to others such as "Roller coasters", "Flamerada" and, finally, "Dharma Force" and "The Prison of the King of France".
