On Tuesday, the Government will request the appearance of the Chief Executive both before the full Congress and the Senate to report on the measures it continues to adopt to deal with the economic and social consequences of the war in Ukraine, which will allow Pedro Sánchez, and the leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, will debate again publicly, predictably this month, in the Upper House, as they did at the beginning of September.
The Executive will request both appearances in the register of the two chambers. Sánchez will go to the Senate to report on the fiscal and economic measures adopted and the role of the autonomous communities in their implementation and in maintaining the welfare state.
The request to appear in Congress will serve for the President of the Government to report on the informal meeting that the European Council will hold next Thursday in Prague, as well as the economic and social measures to respond to the crisis caused by the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
The two chambers will have to set the dates for both appearances soon, although the forecast is that they will be held in the current month of October.
