See the thick coastal fog of the Bay of Roses

These autumn days, in the morning, this image has been seen on the beach of Roses, where you can see a different, fantastic and ghostly sunrise, as we see in The Readers' Photos of La Vanguardia.

The fog hid the town of Roses completely, while some people walked along the shore of the beach and others took photographs, as is my case.

Although it may seem impossible, Roses is precisely looking at the sun. Surely, this is advection fog typical of periods of great atmospheric stability.

Advection fog is formed due to the movement (advection) of relatively warm and humid air over a lower temperature surface and the cooling of the air by contact with that cold surface until it reaches saturation temperature, as detailed by the World Meteorological Organization.

Let's hope that next week this trend will change and the desired rains will arrive that correspond to the season we are in, autumn.
