Santa Coloma hosts the 12th edition of the Integrative Theater Festival

“Art does not understand differences”, this is the motto of the Integrative Theater Festival (FITI) that is being held this weekend at the Sagarra Theater in Santa Coloma de Gramenet with the support of Barcelona City Council. In this 12th edition, the public will be able to enjoy circus, theater and dance shows, created and performed by people with functional diversity.

This year the festival has three performances in its main program that will take place at 7:00 p.m. each day of the weekend. Today, the Mur company, from Mataró, opens the curtain, presenting its integrating circus show, De tu a tu. On Saturday, the Colombian association Alquimistes Teatre, the host of FITI, will premiere the play Lorca in women's language. Finally, on Sunday the festival curtain will be lowered with Sin par, by the Fritch Company dance company, from the Maite León Foundation.

In addition to these shows, the FITI also offers complementary activities. The Central Library of Santa Coloma de Gramenet is scheduled to perform a performance by the musical group Els Bogasons, from the Bogatell Occupational Center, and a film-forum session with the documentary Alquimistes off, which shows the company's experience during confinement. Also, there will be a round table on the creative process of inclusive arts with members of the companies that participate in FITI.

Finally, as an extraordinary activity on the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, on Friday, December 2, the work Lorca en femení will be performed free of charge for the entities and institutes of Santa Coloma.
