The specter of the use of nuclear weapons, for the first time in almost eight decades, has risen with the invasion of Ukraine, a possibility that has been raised again and again by Vladimir Putin. Is an atomic war possible? Three analysts consulted by La Vanguardia try to answer this question and their response, at least from two of them, is reassuring, although not entirely. In summary, from a logical and cost benefit point of view, Russia will not use this weaponry, but sometimes it is not logic that governs events.
