The last month has been a real nightmare for actor Rodolfo Sancho. His son, Daniel Sancho, has been in provisional prison in Thailand since the beginning of August, after having confessed to the murder and dismemberment of Edwin Arrieta, a Colombian surgeon with whom he was on vacation on an island in the Asian country. The Sea of Plastics actor and his ex-partner and Daniel's mother, Silvia Bronchalo, have traveled there in recent weeks. In his case, she has spent a week in the Asian country, visited his son and has taken very important steps to continue defending the young man. However, upon his return to Spain, upon being captured by the press, he appeared very tense.
After a few days in Thailand, the interpreter of The Ministry of Time has returned to Spain, to return to the property he shares with his partner, Xènia Tostado, and his youngest daughter, in Fuerteventura. There he has taken refuge in recent weeks. However, his return home has not been very smooth. This Sunday, at the airport, the press was waiting for him to capture his first statements after the trip, however, the actor has been very tense with the reporters.
"I already said I wasn't going to talk anymore, right? That's it, thank you," the actor began, trying to avoid the press in a failed attempt. "I don't know why you insist, if I have already said that I am not going to speak. That's it, right?" He continued saying, after the incessant questions from the reporters. During the next few minutes, the reporters ask him about Daniel, about the family's state of mind, but the actor decides to remain silent, making gestures as if he were tired. "Thank you, good morning," he ended up saying, as he got into an elevator.
After a few minutes, he ran into the press again. "I'm not going to talk, I've already told you. You already know that you can talk to Carmen and Ramón," she expressed. It is then that a reporter asks him about the media pressure the family feels, a paradoxical pressure, since the family has representatives who are speaking on television. "It's compatible so you don't go asking me," says the actor, visibly upset. "How annoying," he says, after the incessant questions. Finally, the actor boarded a flight again, under the watchful eye of the press.
The truth is that in recent days, Rodolfo has shown to be nervous. In his first statements to the press in Thailand, the actor showed a defensive attitude towards reporters and had very harsh words. So much so, that there were many journalists who criticized his behavior. "They think I'm lying on the ground, that's not me," he said then, very bluntly. "There are two ways to take things in life, either as a misfortune or as a challenge. You won't get any tears," he concluded. After these statements, Sancho refused to answer the journalists' questions.
Rodolfo Sancho's attitude was highly criticized on television sets, for which he ended up apologizing. "Yesterday I came out of living a complicated moment in there," he began by saying. "The image I gave was hard and arrogant, you know that I have always had a smile for you, it is a hard and complicated moment," he continued. "I want it to be understood that this is a mechanism that I use to feel firm, to feel strong and to help my son," he added, clarifying his circumstances.
