Qatar University will be the base camp for the Spanish National Team during the World Cup in Qatar, which will be held in the Arab country from November 21 to December 18. Luis Enrique's men will live there for as long as they remain in the Arab country, after FIFA has validated the request made by the Federation to be able to stay in facilities that meet the requirements demanded by Luis Enrique and his coaching staff.
The new Spanish headquarters is located in the Al Dafna district of Doha, 28 kilometers (29 minutes) from Doha International Airport. The facilities have two training fields that will be used exclusively by the Spanish National Team.
In addition, the internationals will have all the necessary facilities (gym, recovery areas, technical and meeting rooms...) at the level of what the most important football event on the planet demands.
Al Thumama Stadium, where Spain will debut against Costa Rica, is located 22 km away. A short trip that will be repeated with the rest of the fields since the farthest venue of all, Al Bayt Stadium, is 39 km away.
