Putin assures that he will allow the exit of cereals from Ukraine

The Russian president, Vladimir Putin, has assured that Russia will not attack the Ukrainian ports that are demined to allow the exit of cereal that is blocked by the war conflict. "We are not going to take advantage of the demining situation to carry out some kind of attack from the sea," the Russian president said during an interview with his country's public television.

Putin stressed that the best way to allow the exit of the Ukrainian grain are the ports located on the Black Sea, including Odessa, which is still under Ukrainian control and has recalled that it has not been Russia who has mined the Ukrainian ports, mainly those of Odessa. and others from the Black Sea and who has prevented ships loaded with wheat from leaving. He also assured that "we will guarantee his departure without problems."

For his part, the president of Belarus, Alexandr Lukashenko, offered his country this Friday as a means of exporting Ukrainian cereals in exchange for concessions such as the opening of Baltic ports for their products. "The best route is Belarus," Lukashenko said.

In a telephone conversation with UN Secretary General António Guterres, the Belarusian president told him that the country's railways can transport Ukrainian grain to Baltic Sea ports as long as they are open for Belarusian exports.
