Puente suffers an altercation with an AVE passenger, who reproaches Puigdemont for an amnesty

It was already around eleven in the morning when Óscar Puente, socialist deputy and former mayor of Valladolid in charge of responding to Alberto Núñez Feijóo in his investiture debate, finally arrived at Congress after a busy trip to Madrid. There is still time, however, to participate in this last session of the failed investiture of the leader of the Popular Party, whose start was scheduled for after noon. Puente has arrived still upset, and ready to file a complaint for the events suffered.

When the PSOE deputy arrived at the AVE platform in Valladolid, to take the train to Madrid that left at 8:45 in the morning, he was harassed by another passenger, whom he did not know, who began to throw him off. facing a possible amnesty that would benefit the former president of the Generalitat, Carles Puigdemont.

"What do you think of Puigdemont?" the author of the video, shared by himself on social networks and denounced by the former leader of Podemos, Pablo Iglesias, repeatedly asked him. Puente has refused to respond and has tried to continue moving forward. Given the alleged blockade suffered, the deputy has requested the intervention of the police.

The former mayor of Valladolid, according to socialist sources, has turned a deaf ear to the imprecations of the other passenger. But with such bad fortune, they add, that both have coincided in the same AVE car. There, the other passenger has continued to reproach Puente, in his face. The clash has forced the train security services to request the presence of the National Police. All of this has caused a delay in the departure of the train, of up to 45 minutes according to some sources.

Several witnesses present in the car have told the Police about the altercation, while all the passengers were impatient with the delay in the departure of the train, starting with Puente himself, who already saw that he was late for the Congress plenary session.

Finally, the AVE has arrived in Madrid, at which point, according to socialist sources, the other passenger has returned to Puente in bad manners. And, now in Congress, the socialist deputy does not rule out denouncing the events suffered.
