Public employment: Correos expands its

Correos will expand the job announcement announced last December to 7,757 indefinite positions, as explained this Thursday in a statement. The decision, after negotiating it with the unions, supposes convening 2,380 extra positions by the Stabilization Plan, which seeks to reduce temporary employment in public employment.

In this year's call, those of 2020, 2021 and the stabilization process will finally be added. "This is the company's largest public job offer in decades," the statement said. The positions to be filled are included in the group of operational personnel, both for distribution, classification and customer service.

The selection of workers will be done in two different phases. First, "the selection system, scheduled tests and assessment of merits will be established." Then the offer of jobs will be announced, their distribution and the period for submitting applications will be opened. The syllabus content to be discussed "will be made available to the general public soon," it added.

The access tests will be held "predictably" in March 2023. The information on the process and the details can be consulted in the "People and talent" section of the Correos website, they report from the public company.

"This call reinforces the Correos brand as a quality employer and the company's commitment to stable employment, the reduction of temporary employment and the professional development of its employees", it is stated. It is also highlighted that a stable framework of labor relations is guaranteed, promoting talent as an accelerator of change in the company, which is entering new businesses, with special attention to logistics.
