The Court of Violence against Women of Tarragona has decreed provisional prison for the 43-year-old man accused of murdering his partner in Tarragona last Sunday.
As reported by the Superior Court of Justice of Catalonia (TSJC), the detainee is being investigated for the crime of homicide.
The victim was found dead at the home where the couple lived and, on Monday morning, after forensic analysis found signs of criminality, the Mossos arrested the man as the main suspect in the murder.
The TSJC reported that there were no previous complaints between the couple.
