The head of the Court of First Instance and Instruction of Tremp (Lleida) has decreed this Saturday provisional prison, communicated and without bail for the man detained in La Pobla de Segur for his alleged relationship with the violent death of a woman, whose body appeared in an orchard.
The man was arrested by the Catalan police last Thursday for his relationship with this event, and it has not yet been ruled out that it could be a case of sexist violence.
Judicial sources have informed EFE that the court has opened the case for violent death, and as the investigation progresses it will be determined whether it will be investigated as a murder or a homicide.
The investigation began after the Mossos learned that a woman from the area was missing.
As a result of the investigations, days after the investigations began, they located the remains of a body hidden in an area of orchards in the Lleida town of Torallola, belonging to the municipality of Conca de Dalt.
The aforementioned sources have indicated that they still do not have the result of the autopsy of the victim's body and that the police are pending various forensic tests, so they have not confirmed the identity of the victim and it is unknown how the death occurred. .
The Mossos are also trying to establish what type of relationship there was between the man and the victim and the causes of the crime, so they do not rule out that it could be a case of sexist violence.
