Primavera Sound Barcelona 2022 kicked off yesterday with a welcome day at Poble Espanyol. At the same time, other artists took to the stage of the Upload room, also as part of the Primavera a la Ciutat cycle. However, the first main dishes of the festival arrive today, Thursday, when the first of the two weekends that will concentrate the great performances of the framework event begins on its return after two years of absence.
Already at the Forum, the first official day of Primavera Sound will begin at 4 pm with Joan Miquel Oliver, one of the most recent additions to the festival. The Mallorcan, who will perform again on Saturday 11 June in the expected return of Antònia Font, will sing the songs of Surfistes in slow motion today. This is the first album he signed with his name after the group's dissolution. Joan Miquel Oliver's concert will be at the Rockdelux Auditorium, one of the 15 stages that comprises the Parc del Fòrum during Primavera Sound.
Later on, the American Kim Gordon, founding member of the alternative rock group Sonic Youth (5.30pm), Rodrigo Cuevas with the zarzuela show Barbián (7pm) and Maria del Mar Bonet (9pm) will perform in the same space.
Throughout this same afternoon, the band Rombo (5 pm), who will present their second album Clara Montse Núria, the punk rock group Les Savy Fav (6:55 pm), Sharon Van Etten (9:05 pm ), who will play her epic double album Ten, Cigarettes After Sex (11:25 p.m.) and the American rapper Big Freedia (1:55 a.m.).
The concerts that the Boiler Room X Cupra will host non-stop are Furie Soundsystem (6 pm), Aunty Razor (7 pm), Rosa Pistola (7:30 pm), Mc Carol (8:30 pm), Badsista (9:15 pm), Tayhana (10:15 p.m.), LCY (11:15 p.m.) and Optimo, from midnight to 5:30 a.m. At the same time, Faye Webster (5:50 p.m.), Dinosaur Jr. (8 p.m.), Yo la Tengo (10:20 p.m.), Fred again... (00:45 a.m.), DJ Shadow (03:15 a.m.) and Myd live band (05 a.m. ), the latter in charge of closing the first day of Primavera, will perform on the Cupra stage.

Also on stage at the Estrella Damm will be Sona pau (5pm), Nahoomie (9pm) and Archer (1am). On the other hand, Milc (6:30 pm), Angeladorrrm (8:30 pm) and Velmondo (10:30 pm) will perform at Jack Daniel's Sona.
The music of Bobbi Arlo (Ie) (9:30 p.m.), STA (ES) (10:45 p.m.) and The Free Fall Band (12:00 a.m.) will sound live at the Night Pro. The concerts that will be offered today from the NTS will be Martha's (10 p.m.), Osheyack (11 p.m.), VTSS Live (11:45 p.m.), Pelada (12:15 a.m.), Crystallmess (1:15 a.m.) and Afrodeutsche (3:15 a.m.).
