Primavera Sound 2023 announces Depeche Mode as its first headliner

Primavera Sound is once again in the spotlight after announcing this Tuesday Depeche Mode as the first headliner for the Barcelona and Madrid editions in June 2023.

It will be June 2 in Barcelona and June 9 in Madrid when the British band performs, being the only two dates that the group will offer in Spain.

The band itself has revealed it at a press conference in Berlin to announce the release of their new album, Memento mori, and a world tour that will mark their first stop at the festival and the first tour of Dave Gahan and Martin L.Gore as duet after the death of Andrew Fletcher.

Primavera Sound will be held from June 1 to 3 at the Parc del Fòrum in Barcelona and from June 8 to 10 at the headquarters of the City of Arganda del Rey (Madrid).

Once the first headliner has been revealed, next Thursday the sale of tickets and VIP tickets for the Barcelona and Madrid editions will be reactivated, at a price of 260 euros and 480 euros, respectively, for a limited time.
