Premià de Mar cut the N-II in a fun and festive day

National Highway II will open to citizens next Sunday, September 17, on the occasion of European Mobility Week. Thus, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and from Montgat to Vilassar de Mar, motor vehicles will give way to bicycles, scooters, roller skates, or neighbors who simply want to walk around them.

Coinciding with the interruption of road traffic, the Premià de Mar City Council (Maresme) has organized various activities. Specifically, between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., in front of the Can Manent farmhouse, a workshop will be held to build panniers for bicycles or scooters. In the same place, the Som Mobilitat shared electric vehicle will be on display and energy advice will be offered to visitors by Premià Energia technicians. On the other hand, a storyteller, who will travel by bicycle, will tell stories at various points along the road such as Palmar Park, where he will start at 12 noon, the Can Manent farmhouse or the city port. Precisely, although the road will be closed to traffic, access to the port by vehicle can be done through the roundabout.

European Mobility Week is celebrated from September 16 to 22. The theme chosen this year by the European Commission is "Energy Efficiency" and the motto is "Combine and move!"
