Pedro Sánchez and Yolanda Díaz meet to

The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, and the Second Vice President and Minister of Labor and Social Economy, Yolanda Díaz, held a meeting this Monday that, according to sources from the Government, has served to "strengthen the coalition" between the PSOE and United Can.

Both from Moncloa and from the Vice Presidency they confirm that the meeting, which took place just before the summer break, has been "very positive and fruitful" and that the Government "is aware of the great challenges of the country" that Spain has ahead.

In addition, the coalition Executive emphasizes its commitment to "continue working", and points out the particular importance of the immediate, since the negotiations of the General State Budgets of 2023 will begin immediately.

The meeting of the leaders of the PSOE and United We Can in the Government, although very common before the council of ministers, has had greater significance and ancestry for being the last meeting before the holidays, but also for taking place with a new path of conflict in the making, around the Law of Official Secrets, which the socialist part of the Government has drawn up without the help of its partners, and which in the last six days has once again tensed relations between the two, very intensely during the weekend of week.

In any case, and regarding this last case of dissent, both parties hoped yesterday to reach an agreement for the second reading of the preliminary draft in the Council of Ministers or, in any case, during the parliamentary processing of the law.
