Paulina Rubio breaks down when talking about the death of her mother: “The grief I experience is very difficult”

This Wednesday, El musical de tu vida, the program presented by Carlos Sobera on Telecinco, had Paulina Rubio as a guest. During the interview, they reviewed her life, with the key vital moments, and all of this choreographed with six musical dances. One of her most emotional moments occurred when talking about her mother, who died a little over a year ago and whose death left her devastated.

Here, the international artist could not contain her tears and become emotional, not only because of the loss of her mother, but because she is still in full mourning and keeps her memory alive by talking about her in the present.

The talk between Carlos Sobera and Paulina Rubio became something more intimate when the presenter brought up her mother, to which the interpreter did not hesitate to explain the great connection she had with her. A connection that she, she revealed, still has, even though she has passed away. For Paulina, her mother was vital in her life, and she came to call her a twin sister.

While recounting these events, the program showed the first photo of Paulina with her mother, when she was barely a few days old. It was then that the Mexican's eyes filled with tears and she became emotional. So much so that she had to swallow hard.

“Do you talk about your mother in the present?” Carlos Sobera was surprised by the way Paulina Rubio spoke about her mother. “Yes, I know he sounds very crazy, but I still find the grief I'm experiencing very difficult,” said the singer. “My mother died fifteen months ago and she left very quickly,” she continued very emotionally.

As Paulina explained, there are three elements that help her cope with this process of sadness: her children, music and God. Some words that she also said brokenly and resisting the desire to break completely.

Finally, the singer stressed that due to her work she cannot spend much time with her family. However, as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, due to which she had to cancel all of her concerts and international tours, it was a good time to enjoy it in the company of her loved ones. “Thanks to the pandemic, I was able to spend a lot of time with my mother,” she acknowledged. Something that made him have more unique moments with her.
