Pancho Varona announces that Sabina is leaving him for her new tour, after 40 years together

The composer Pancho Varona has regretted this Tuesday that Joaquín Sabina does not count on him for the next concert tour that the Ubetense singer-songwriter will start in 2023 and with which he plans to tour Latin America, Spain and Central America, and has recalled that both have composed together some 100 songs, in addition to being his producer on fifteen of his albums.

"Joaquín Sabina has decided, against all odds, not to count on me on his next tour," he explained in a message posted on his Twitter profile, where he also thanked him, "with all my heart", for the 100 songs they composed "together ", the 40 tours in which he accompanied him and the 15 albums in which he was his producer.

"Although I will not be on this tour, I want to tell all of you who have been accompanying me for 40 years that I will always be on every stage with you. Millions of thanks and all my love! Feeling very sorry", he concluded in his publication in Musk's social network.

Varona, 65, was a member of the extinct musical band Viceversa, although he became popular when he became Sabina's 'squire', whom he accompanied at the beginning of his musical career in the 1980s together with the musician Antonio García de Diego. He has also participated or collaborated in the composition of other musical themes by artists such as Ana Belén, Estopa, Luz Casal, among others.

Sabina will begin her 'Contra todos prognosticos' tour in February in Costa Rica and during the month of March she will offer concerts in Colombia, Peru, Chile and Argentina. The final touch of the first round of the Latin American tour will be in Uruguay on April 1.

On April 20, the man from Úbeda will inaugurate the tour in Spain with his first concert in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The tour will cover several Spanish cities between the months of April and October, offering a total of thirteen concerts. In addition to Las Palmas, it will be in Santa Cruz de Tenerife (April 22), Malaga (May 5) and Alicante (May 10).
