Ouigo launches new tickets to travel from 9 euros to Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia

The low-cost high-speed company Ouigo launches this Monday 2.4 million tickets to travel until June 2023 from 9 euros. The offer includes trips on its Barcelona-Madrid route and also to Valencia, the new route that opens this October 7, although it only connects with Madrid.

Specifically, the tickets allow travel from December 11 to June 11. In total, the company offers 1.66 million seats on the Madrid-Zaragoza-Tarragona-Barcelona line, with 64,134 seats available each week, and 740,000 seats on the Madrid-València route, according to a statement.

The trips go on sale at 11.00 and will be available both on the website and in the Ouigo app. The Commercial and Marketing Director of Ouigo, Federico Pareja, highlighted that "a little over a year ago we arrived in Spain with a single objective: to open the doors of high speed to all pockets".

Since entering Spain on May 10, 2021, Ouigo has already transported more than 2.9 million passengers on its only operating line to date, between Madrid and Barcelona. On this route, more than 567,000 people have traveled from/to Zaragoza and more than 92,000 travelers have gotten on or off in Tarragona.

The new route to Valencia will include 3 round trips a day, with departures at 7:35, 10:10 and 20:00 from Valencia and at 7:20, 17:20 and 19:25 from Madrid, with durations of one hour and 50 minutes.
