16,864 subscribers, out of the 27,385 expected, have purchased the season pass for the next campaign in which the Barça first team will play their matches at the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium in Barcelona, according to what the economic vice president Elena Fort revealed this Thursday, at a meeting with partners.

Barcelona, which has 83,500 subscribers, had initially reserved 27,385 seats of the 49,472 available in Montjuïc for its subscribers. The rest will be used for sale to the public and for club commitments.

In an appearance by Fort, the club's institutional vice president, and Eduard Romeu, economic vice president, with a group of 200 members, which the Catalan club reported in a statement since it was closed to the media, both offered details about the 'Espai Barça', which is how the urban planning of the Camp Nou is known.

Fort invited the members to "accompany Barça at a very important moment". In addition, the vice president announced that she is working so that members who have not subscribed can enjoy tickets at popular prices.

The vice-president detailed the changes that will take place in the coming months around the 'Espai Barça', as well as what has been the selection process of the companies that will make it possible.

In addition, the vice-president explained that Barcelona City Council has already granted two of the three municipal permits necessary to carry out the work and the last one is expected to be available shortly.

Romeu described the financing plan for the 'Espai Barça', which he described as "aggressive, ambitious", and which entails "painful decisions", for which reason "only brave people can do it".

The financial manager of the Barça board asked for "trust and patience" from the partners and stressed that the Barcelona ownership model was "one of the essential red lines" to carry out the financing of the project.

He stressed that no mortgage has been made on the new stadium. "We guarantee payment with the income generated by the project. Therefore, the financiers are fellow travelers, who, yes, cannot intervene in the Club's decisions," he clarified.

Regarding the transfer to the Montjuïc Stadium, Fort highlighted the effort made by Barcelona to improve access and make mobility as comfortable and fluid as possible with the use of shuttle buses and the use of the funicular, escalators, taxis, car parks for Peñas buses and for motorcycles around the Lluís Companys and for private vehicles at the Fira.

The works of the new Spotify Camp Nou can be followed through a web page created on the installation, thanks to the images collected by three webcams located in the venue.
