One in five companies adopts a hybrid work policy

Less than 20% of professionals say that a hybrid work policy has been adopted in their company. This is revealed by a study carried out by Opinium for Ricoh, in which 500 employees in Spain have participated.

The report concludes that a lack of planning and investment with this hybrid model threatens to hamper the widespread return to the office.

Another conclusion is the pressure to return to attendance. In this sense, two out of five respondents say they feel pressure to return to the office, which represents 31% compared to 2020.

Up to 64% of the employees surveyed believe that the choice to return to the office in 2022 is a personal one, which reinforces the demand that senior managers balance the preferences of their human teams with the needs of the company when designing hybrid work policies.

In another aspect, about half of those surveyed confirm an increase in the presence of collaboration technology in meeting rooms to promote hybrid work, while 24% affirm that collaborative spaces have been reduced.

"Offering the right collaboration tools so that everyone enjoys a positive work experience, regardless of where they are, is essential for employees as restrictions are relaxed", explained Ramon Martín, CEO of Ricoh Spain and Portugal. . “Creating a work environment where hybrid work really exists is the next critical step in the process,” he says.
