On October 30, Valencia will eliminate the ORA payment at lunchtime and after 8 p.m.

The Valencia City Council has already set a date to reduce the ORA payment time. Starting next October 30, the hours of the regulated parking area, blue zone, of the city will be modified. Thus, from that day on, the ORA will not have to be paid either from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. or from 8:00 p.m.

The council has already approved eliminating the ORA payment in the blue zone in the city of Valencia at noon and starting at 8 p.m. The mayor, María José Catalá, explained that this measure “responds to the Government's commitment to helping citizens save on mobility.”

Catalá specified that "these new payment-free slots in the Parking Regulatory Ordinance (ORA) zone hours, specifically for 3 hours, will mean savings of 1.8 million euros per year for citizens."

Before October 30, the winning company must “adapt the programming, both of the parking meters and the APP, so that they do not allow payment of the fee in said time slots.”

Likewise, the information that visibly shows the regulated hours must be replaced in all parking meters and the vertical signage must be adapted to the new schedule and the graphic designs that are necessary to inform citizens.
