Olona builds bridges with the PP, his ally

Vox's "natural" ally is the PP. With these words pronounced today by the candidate for the presidency of the Junta de Andalucía of the ultranationalist party, Macarena Olona, picked up the glove thrown by the popular Juanma Moreno to make an "Ayuso" in the region after 19-J. But these bridges between groups will only happen if those from Abacal are part of the government's "engine" to bring about "real change" in the South. Otherwise, he has said, if the electorate bets that the leader of the Executive is Moreno, he "is going to be pushed."

The one from Alicante has recognized that, despite the "passionate criticism" that it makes towards the PP, a party that it has accused on different occasions of having "a point of treason", "it is very clear" that it is its "natural" ally.

Moreno Bonilla "will be an extraordinary vice president", Olona commented in an interview in Cope, where he has promised to "give her space" but has warned her that he needs her "as a driving force" because Andalusia "needs hope and has a future". This has been the response of Abascal's candidate to chair the Board a day after the popular admitted yesterday that he aspired to reach "specific agreements" with those of Vox emulating the Government of Ayuso, a formula that he stated that he liked .

The ultranationalists had already declared that their support would not be "free" and that they seek to provoke "real change" in the region because, in their opinion, the South "needs hope" to have "a future." “I am not here to warm up a public chair but to serve the Andalusian people”, he declared, “I am here to give my all and take all the blows” and to impose “firm and decisive measures”. And if, finally, the electorate opts for the popular one to pick up the baton after the Andalusian elections, it must be clear "that it is going to be pushed".

And it is that, in his opinion, Moreno makes a "triumphant allegation" of the management in Andalusia during this legislature and has criticized the fact that the man from Malaga "excuses" many of his measures in the pandemic, leaving the government with its hands free. of Pedro Sánchez "to impose his totalitarian agenda".

Macarena Olona continues to campaign actively, meeting with groups in society and listening to their needs. In fact, her events scheduled for the next few days include meetings with hoteliers, small businessmen and hunters from different parts of the community. As he has commented, in the meetings he has had with other social groups he has been able to learn first-hand about the problems of each of the groups, and has pointed out that he carries "the pain of Andalusia on his skin" and that he has "cried with them" , which has caused him to arrive "hungry" to this campaign. "I am willing to take the blows that are necessary to avoid them to the Andalusians," she stressed.

And this "hunger" will lead him to "take out a real pruning shears in San Telmo" to eliminate "superfluous spending" in the region, a commitment made by Vox that has already announced that it will remove subsidies to "corrupt unions "every time he has denounced that the Government of Juanma Moreno has forgiven 40 million euros to "this gang of chorizos that are the UGT and CCOO unions", who, according to the Abascal candidate, have been allowed to return money in conditions that they would not be possible for any Andalusian "on foot".

On the other hand, he has once again pointed out that another of his party's objectives is to undertake a "head-on" fight against illegal immigration, which, in his opinion, causes insecurity "in the neighbourhoods", again linking immigration with crime, something that it earned him to be cataloged as "xenophobic" and "racist" by the leftist formations that aspire to form a government after the Andalusian elections.

Another setback for the Andaluces Levantaos coalition. The party that appealed to the Electoral Board for the registration of Olona in Salobreña had filed two complaints with the Andalusian Electoral Board to invalidate the use of the Spanish flag in Vox propaganda, understanding that a "partisan use" was being made. However, the JEA has ruled against the formation of Modesto González, arguing that it does not appreciate "pretention of appropriation or use as an instrument of confrontation."

It is done "in a discreet and respectful way, as a purely accessory element, without any pretense of expropriation or use as an instrument of confrontation being appreciated", although the entity, which admits that "it can certainly pretend to expressly reflect, sometimes with intensity, the commitment of the political formation with what the flag of Spain supposes".

In any case, the JEA concludes that "it cannot be considered that the use of the Spanish flag in that electoral propaganda supposes an instrumentalization of it, being, on the contrary, fully legitimate". Against the agreement of the JEA it is possible to file an appeal before the Central Electoral Board (JEC).
