The investment firm Nazca Capital has closed the purchase of 100% of the capital of Doga, one of the world leaders in electric windshield wiper systems for large vehicles. The parties have refused to disclose the amount of the operation, although industry media point to the figure of around 100 million euros.
The operation has been carried out through the Nazca Opportunity I vehicle. Founded in 1958, the company was controlled by the García family, and is dedicated to the manufacture of electrical systems for agricultural, logistics and construction machinery. The entry of Nazca "will allow it to accelerate its international growth plan," according to a company statement.
Doga has more than 1,000 employees and factories in Spain, Italy, Morocco and China, as well as a commercial presence in the United States, Brazil, India and Mexico, with sales in more than 80 countries. Doga expects an ebitda or gross operating result of 17 million this year. The project will continue to be led by the CEO, Jordi Miró.
