Nacho Cano, who is one of the best Spanish composers of recent decades, has recalled his beginnings in the band on the Telecinco program and has opened up about his current relationship with Ana Torroja and her brother José María.
Mecano became a musical icon of the eighties and one of the biggest names in music in Spanish. "At that time, music was for low-life people and we were in the Jesuits. My father had more artistic sensitivity, he asked for a loan to buy me my first piano. I told him that it was the best investment of his life, and it was" , recalled Nacho Cano.
After reviewing the group's trajectory, Bertín has asked Nacho Cano a very direct question: "Will Mecano come back?" For his part, the composer has shown himself to be very sincere: "This question is going to be difficult for me to answer", he has started himself.
"The life of each one has taken different paths and that was how it was in the context that it was, it turned out very well in the musical sense", reflected Nacho Cano. "I'll take the songs, because what we were, we were transmitters of emotions and there it continues," he continued explaining.
"Mecano is not going to return because he has never left, what we will not return is to get the three of us together, because we are annoying, painstaking. And because we are not English, that the English agree," Nacho Cano has settled.
