MotoGP today: Schedule and where to see the classification of the 2022 Japanese GP

The MotoGP World Championship lands this weekend in Japan with the Japanese Grand Prix and the classification will take place on Saturday, September 24. The Motegi circuit will be the scene of the umpteenth fight for the world title, now closer than ever between Fabio Quartararo, Pecco Bagnaia and Aleix Espargaró.

The fight for pole position will begin at 8:05 a.m. with Q1 followed by Q2 at 8:30 a.m. and will be seen on the DAZN streaming platform, in addition to being able to follow minute by minute through the website of The vanguard.

The last race in Aragón was especially hard for Quartararo, leader of the World Championship who did not finish the race. By contrast, Bastianini finished first ahead of Bagnaia, second overall, and Espargaró, third in the fight for the title. The Frenchman now has 10 points of rent over the Italian and 17 over the Catalan.

Last season, Maverick Viñales won the race on the Japanese track, while Johann Zarco and Bagnaia completed the podium. The Ducati Italian was the fastest in the 2021 classification, so this Saturday he is emerging as one of the clear candidates to win the first position on the starting grid.

In addition, Bagnaia is one of the strongest riders at this point in the season, since he has gone five races without getting off the podium, four of them on the top step. The other great protagonist in Japan will be Marc Márquez, who will face his second race after reappearing in the previous test in Aragón after completing his fourth operation on his right humerus.
