This Wednesday's police operation against an organization specialized in counterfeiting currency in several municipalities in Camp de Tarragona has finally been closed with five arrests.
According to police sources, starting at six in the morning a total of six searches have been carried out: four in homes in Salou, as well as one in Cambrils and another in Reus. The tickets allowed the intervention of counterfeit 10 and 20 euro bills, as well as other effects related to the investigation. Public order agents and agents from the Criminal Investigation Division of the Mossos, as well as the Spanish police and Europol, participated in the operation.
The operation began at six in the morning with four searches in the town of Salou, another in Reus and a sixth in Cambrils.
