Morera offers his experience to Compromís and the party points out that the important thing is the project

The president of Les Corts Valencianes, Enric Morera, relegated by his own in the primary vote to number 11 on the list (complicated for him to come out because the coalition would need to improve the results of 2019) does not rule out continuing in the first political line. Now it remains for his party to want it.

In statements to the media after the meeting of the Board of Trustees, the highest institutional position of the coalition has assured that he is "willing and with experience" to assume, once the regional elections in May are over, a job "of more direct action, not so much institutional". However, he has admitted that first you have to win the 28M elections.

In this context, he did not want to close any door. "There is no need to look for me anywhere because I have accumulated enough experience to be able to develop work in other areas such as government or whatever." In fact, he has claimed that "he has the capacity, experience and background to also be in the private world." He has not ruled out the possibility of going on lists that will be configured for the general candidacies either.

Fuentes de Més pointed out yesterday to La Vanguardia that they would indeed seek some accommodation for their leader for more than a decade.

What the leader of Més Compromís has made clear, contrary to what Aitana Mas hinted, is his intention is to finish his term as president of Les Corts and "finalize this legislature well".

Despite the poor result achieved this weekend, Morera has expressed his satisfaction with the result of the primaries that, he recalled, he himself promoted as leader of the then Bloc. Of course, he has recognized "some failure" in this process.

Asked about Morera's words, the Compromís trustee in Parliament, Papi Robles, has indicated that "all the people who are part of the Compromís project have their space and Morera is part of that project." Thus, Robles has stressed that "the name of the person is not as important as the collective project."

A somewhat light response to the offer that the still president of Les Corts had just made. It cannot be ignored that there were already movements in Compromís at the beginning of the legislature so that Morera would not repeat the position, however, the direct support of the then coalition leader, Mónica Oltra, and indirect support from the president, Ximo Puig, underpinned his continuity.

In another order of things, and in the face of criticism from sectors of the Initiative to the primary process, Robles wanted to defend the formula and recalled that it is the same process that was carried out "four years ago and eight years ago." Therefore, he has indicated that they accept "the rules of the game and the results."

The síndica has argued that they are a format that responds to the DNA of the coalition and that allows them to mobilize their supporters, turn them into "democratic agents" and give the starting shot of the electoral campaign.
