More than 1,300 businessmen and executives attend the EDEM 2023 Executive Graduation

A total of 141 students, from the 15x15, Advanced Management Program (AMP), Executive MBA and EMBA with EDEM specialization programs, graduated this afternoon at the Palacio de Congresos de València in front of more than 1,300 attendees, most of them businessmen, managers and entrepreneurs.

The EDEM Executive Graduation has brought together the main protagonists of the Valencian economy in an act chaired by Adriana Domínguez, executive president of Adolfo Domínguez who has acted as godmother to the students, Hortensia Roig, president of EDEM, Juan Roig, honorary president , and Elena Fernández, general director.

In her speech, Hortensia Roig stated: “At EDEM we educate to know, to know how to be and to know how to do. We train complete human beings, with critical capacity, who know and practice the culture of effort. Entrepreneurs and managers with great technical skills, capable of solving the needs of companies and their clients”.

“Continuous learning and the ability to move at the pace of the environment and throughout our lives, learnability, is the great skill of the future and a lever for transforming society. Education has the power to change people's lives, and it is people, with the right training and attitude, who take companies to the next level”, he added.

In his speech, Juan Roig wanted to emphasize the importance of business for "employment" and "well-being:" All of us who are here are brave. And I say brave because we have had some difficult years. Entrepreneurs have to feel very proud to be creating the future”. For this reason, he has highlighted the importance of EDEM and Marina de Empresas as a “factory of entrepreneurs”.

"To be sustainable over time, companies must know what makes us different, what we contribute to society. There are studies that show that companies with values ​​are longer-lived and more sustainable than those that lack purpose," he said. underlined by his part in his speech Adriana Domínguez.

Programs Represented at Graduation

The 15x15 Course is a nationally recognized senior management program in which, over 15 days, benchmark businessmen and managers share the lessons they have received throughout their careers and their experiences, both successes and failures.

In its 18th edition, the top representatives of Air Nostrum, Alain Afflelou, Bankinter, BP, Caixabank, Chep, Navarre Frozen, Davidwine, HP, IKEA, Palma Group, IVI, Jeanologia, Mercadona, Norauto, Pfizer, Ron Santa taught class Teresa, Telephone, TIBA, Velatia and Viralgen. Sara Diez, CEO and co-founder of Vestel Engineers of the Levant, has intervened on behalf of her colleagues.

The AMP, whose representative who spoke at the event was Rubén Marín, deputy director of the Valencia Port Authority, is a management and leadership development program aimed at professionals with at least ten years of experience as managers who seek to reinvent themselves and take on new challenges.

For its part, the modular Executive MBA diploma was delivered today to the students who are taking the EDEM ABC programs, which are focused on the functional areas of the company. Finally, the EMBA with a specialization in Marketing, Finance or Digital Business is a weekend program aimed at professionals with at least four years of experience who do not want training to interfere with their day-to-day work.
