The Atletico striker had to leave the pitch in the 10th minute of the game at the Nuevo Mirandilla stadium, after suffering "direct trauma to one foot," according to the club's description.

Morata was blocked by Senegalese central defender Mamadou Mbaye when he was about to hit the ball from inside the Cádiz area.

The player has undergone medical tests this Sunday that have revealed "an edema of soft tissues in the ankle (right)" and the club points out that "the evolution of his discomfort will condition his incorporation into the group," says the part. Check the LaLiga classification.
