Mónica García formalizes her candidacy for the Community at the helm of Más Madrid

Mónica García has made official this Monday her candidacy for the Presidency of the Community of Madrid for the next elections of 2023 and has warned that she wants to be the president of "a solvent government".

The spokeswoman for Más Madrid in the Assembly has presented this Monday through a video on her social networks the team that will accompany her in the next regional elections, she has already focused on "health", "the generation of Industry", "diversity social" and "sustainable mobility", some of its master lines.

The group chosen by the opposition leader combines "solvency, institutional experience and extensive knowledge and dedication to issues such as health, public services, the economy, feminism or the ecological transition, with the aim of facing the challenges that Madrid ahead and offer a serious and exciting alternative to the abandonment" of the regional president, Isabel Díaz Ayuso.

"Good politics ensures that healthcare works in Madrid, that starting a family is not an odyssey and that rents are not through the roof. Good politics offers the South what it deserves, is committed to youth, equality and makes Madrid is more breathable. Good politics is the one that cares about what really matters and allows us to enjoy time", the candidacy stated.

García led the historic electoral return of the Madrid left in 2021 by surpassing the PSOE in votes and establishing himself as the leader of the opposition in the Community at the head of a party that had been founded just two years before.

An anesthetist by profession, García made himself known to the people of Madrid during his work opposing the Ayuso Executive during the pandemic.
