Minister Belarra asks Sánchez to suspend diplomatic relations with Israel

The acting Minister of Social Rights and General Secretary of Podemos, Ione Belarra, announced this Wednesday that they are going to ask the PSOE that the Government suspend diplomatic relations with Israel, in addition to "urgently" applying economic sanctions on the Israeli authorities for the "planned genocide", as he has denounced, that they are carrying out against the Palestinian people.

He recalled that they have also asked his partner in the Government to take Israel before the International Criminal Court for war crimes and said that with Russia, as a result of its invasion of Ukraine, they acted more quickly.

"It seems to me that it is urgent and that Spain could do much more," Belarra said in an interview on Telecinco, in which he advocated stopping exports with Israel and establishing an arms embargo.
