Mexican fans dress up as sheikhs in Qatar to scare Argentines with restrictions

The Mexican team debuted at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar with a bland 0-0 draw against Poland where the highlight was the penalty that 'Memo' Ochoa saved Robert Lewandowski. However, those who have played, but off the pitch, have been the tricolor fans.

The fan stories. If we recently saw the incredible adventures of some English fans in the house of some sheikhs, this time it is the Mexican fans who have decided to customize themselves as Qataris to walk through the streets of Doha.

A very successful costume. A group of friends have decided to record their antics in Qatar and post them on social media. Its objective? Playing with the ignorance of the tourists who are going to see the World Cup about the multiple restrictions that exist in the country and giving them a good scare. The first step, disguise yourself as a sheikh.

I troll the Argentines. In one of the videos, you can see how the fake Qataris address a group of Argentines to tell them that they can't take photos in a public place. The tourists immediately cease their activity in fear until one of them shouts: "Only Mexicans!", causing general laughter.

In another video, they follow the same modus operandi to tell a group of Argentines who cannot play the drum in the street: "I'm sorry, I'm sorry", one of them answers in English.

The most viral clip. However, the scene that has had the most impact is a video in which they approach some young people wearing Argentine T-shirts to warn them that they cannot leave their backpacks or rest their feet on street furniture.

In numbers. This latest video has close to 13 million views, a figure that far exceeds taking into account the rest of the clips uploaded by the @alfonsocr710 account. In addition, the most viral video is close to a million 'likes'.

Top comments. "We didn't win a fucking match, but we are the best in the world at trolling", "I am Argentine and I have to admit that I died laughing at this" or "Keep uploading these types of jokes", are some of the comments that represent the feel of the majority of users who have seen the videos.
