Messi would have a millionaire offer from Saudi Al-Hilal

With the world of football hanging on Leo Messi's future after PSG have withdrawn their renewal offer, clubs are rushing to seduce the Argentine star. FC Barcelona is studying how to adjust the high cost of a figure of his stature and the footballer and his family would like to return to the city where they lived their happiest years, but until now they would only have a single formal offer.

Saudi Arabia's Al-Hilal would have offered Messi a million-dollar contract, according to Reuters, citing sources close to the Argentine. The press in his country estimates the contract at around 400 million euros a year, although the Saudi club has not wanted to confirm or deny this information.

Messi, 35, was suspended by his current club, Paris Saint-Germain, earlier in the week after an unauthorized trip to Saudi Arabia for a promotional event with the country's tourism board. His absence from one of the training sessions scheduled by Galtier has cost him a two-week employment and salary penalty and the withdrawal of the Parisian club's renewal offer.

The million-dollar offer that the Argentine star has received comes from the same country of which he is an ambassador for tourism. In addition, Al-Hilal plays in the same league as Al-Nassr, in which his archenemy, the Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo, plays. The Portuguese arrived in December with a deal worth around 220 million euros a year, although his Saudi venture is not turning out as he had anticipated and he finds himself immersed in strong criticism from the fans and clashes with the coach.
