Mbappé will collect part of the loyalty premium if he is not transferred in the next few hours

Kylian Mbappé already announced at the end of last season that he would not renew with PSG until 2025, an option that will officially expire this Monday at 11:59 p.m., as stipulated in his contract. The Frenchman has no intention of exercising that clause in the following hours and his position remains to leave Paris next summer, when he ends his relationship with the Parisian club.

In addition, if the Bondy footballer is not sold before the end of the day, he will receive a part of the 60 million loyalty premium agreed last year with his record renewal. Mbappé will receive 40 million euros and will haggle over the ultimatum that PSG president Nasser Al Khelaïfi gave him on July 5: renewal or transfer.

Once the term for the contract extension until 2025 has expired and half of the premium has already been collected, a new negotiation scenario opens for the future of Mbappé. PSG now have until August 31 to sell their star to the highest bidder, who remains sidelined as the team continues its summer tour of Japan.

Mbappé has publicly declared that he intends to play for PSG next season, although in France there is speculation that Real Madrid will make an offer before the current transfer window ends. The whites, however, have stated, at least publicly, that the squad is closed, as their coach, Carlo Ancelotti, said.

In recent days, PSG has offered Mbappé to various clubs, including Barça, to, among other things, avoid paying the 40 million loyalty bonus. Al Hilal presented a record proposal of 300 million and in the last few hours there has been talk of a possible loan to Liverpool, but for now the striker remains firm.

All signs lead Mbappé to Real Madrid, the club he sympathized with in his childhood. The Frenchman has been close to wearing white in the last two seasons, but on this occasion, either this summer or the next, it seems that the paths of the Parisian and the entity chaired by Florentino Pérez are finally going to cross.
