Mbappé is already precocious than Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo

With his 42 goals, the last two scored this Friday against the Netherlands, which served to seal France's pass to the 2024 Euro Cup, Kylian Mbappé continues to make history and not only in his country, where he is already the fourth best scorer ahead by Michel Platini (41).

The PSG forward reached 42 at the age of 24 years and almost 10 months, something that was out of reach of Lionel Messi (seven times Ballon d'Or) and Cristiano Ronaldo (five) when they were that same age.

When they scored 42 goals, Messi was 27 years and one day old and had played 89 games for the Abiceleste, while Cristiano was 28 years, seven months and one day and had accumulated 106 games for the Portuguese.

Mbappé also surpasses the two players who have dominated world football in the last 15 years in scoring average for national teams, because he scored 42 goals in 72 games (0.58 goals per game).

However, this mark of precocity of the PSG player is still surpassed by another of the footballers who have marked the last decade, his former club teammate Neymar. With the five-time world champion, the Brazilian scored 42 goals at only 22 years, 9 months and 7 days. And in just 59 games (goal average of 0.71).

With his double at the Johan Cruyff Arena, Mbappé overtook the legendary Platini (three times Ballon d'Or) and has Antoine Griezmann within reach (44). Thierry Henry (51), now retired, and Olivier Giroud (54), who leads the ranking of the double world champion, are 9 and 12 points away, respectively.
