Luis Enrique: "I don't even know who's whistling for us tomorrow, it doesn't worry me"

The Spanish coach Luis Enrique Martínez has starred this Wednesday in his tenth streaming since he began his adventure on Twitch. And once again, the coach has answered dozens of questions from users of the platform for more than an hour.

As has already happened in his previous streams, Luis Enrique has talked about football but also about things extra-sports. For example, in this second point, he has explained his musical tastes -he does not like reggaeton- but he does declare himself a fan of Besmaya, Malmö 040, Joan Dausà or Manolo García, and he has even been informed of what is being said on the Internet , because he has laughingly commented on what was published by some media about the admiration that Princess Leonor has for Gavi.

He has also talked about his gastronomic tastes: he does not like cachopo, although he admits that it is a great Asturian dish, but he does declare himself a fan of pancakes. "They are my downfall. I can eat seven or eight after dinner, for dessert," he said.

And he has also recognized that he has ever considered writing a book and that he has even received offers from some publishers, but has not yet been encouraged to do so, although he has acknowledged that "I still have a lot of time ahead of me."

If Luis Enrique has surprised with some of his confessions in the more non-sporting part, he has also left some interesting headlines in football, especially ahead of the game against Japan, in which Spain will play, although he has it very face to face, the pass to the round of 16 in Qatar.

The Asturian coach explained that today they have carried out the training prior to this Thursday's game and that it has been "without physical load". In addition, he has recognized that Japan will be a difficult rival and has even advanced that he will do some rotation in the Spanish eleven. "But not with the idea of saving players; it will be an eleven of guarantees", he underlined.

He has also talked about the qualities that the goalkeepers of the national team have to have -highlighting his game with his feet-, of his time as a player -remembering how much fun it was to train with Javier Clemente and Charly Rexach- and he has also praised the fans Spaniards, assuring that thanks to Twitch "we feel your enthusiasm, your desire for everything to go well". "For this alone it has been worth it," he said.

Throughout the stream, Luis Enrique has also spoken on more than one occasion about the role of the referees, and has been very clear: "It doesn't worry me. Tomorrow I don't even know who whistles for us. The referees are human beings and they make mistakes I like to get away from them, not protest and tell the players that it's something they can't control." I like to get away from him, not protest him and tell a player that it's something he can't control."

And as could be expected, Luis Enrique has finished his tenth stream from Qatar with one wish: that it not be the last one he does: "That will mean that we move on in the tournament."
