Like this it has been the announcement of the goodbye to the Barça of Gerard Hammered

Gerard Piqué, Barça defender and fifth player who has played the most matches with the Barça club, announced this Thursday that he is leaving FC Barcelona. And his goodbye will be immediate, because the also champion of the 2010 World Cup and the 2012 European Championship with the Spanish team has announced that this Saturday he will play his last game at the Camp Nou.

He has communicated it in a video that he has shared on social networks and that he has introduced with the following message: Culers, we have to say one thing (culers, I have to tell you one thing).

Next, we recover the entire farewell message from Gerard Piqué.

"Culers, I'm Gerard. Many people have been talking about me for weeks, months. So far I haven't said anything, but now I want to be the one to talk to you about myself.

Like many of you, I've always been a Barça fan. I was born into a very soccer-loving and culer family. From a very young age I didn't want to be a footballer, I wanted to be a Barça player. Lately, I've been thinking about that kid a lot. What would that Gerard have thought if they had told him that he would fulfill all his dreams. That he would reach the Barça first team, that he would win all the possible titles, that he would be champion of Europe, and of the world. That he would play alongside the best in history, that he would be one of the captains, that he would make friends forever.

25 years ago I joined Barça. I left and came back. Football has given me everything, Barça has given me everything. You guys have given me everything. And now that the dreams of that child have been fulfilled, I want to tell you that I have decided that it is time to close this circle.

I have always said that after Barça there would be no other team. And so it will be. This Saturday will be my last game at the Camp Nou. I will become just another culer, I will cheer on the team and pass on my love for Barça to my children, just as my family did with me. And you already know me. Sooner or later, I'll be back. See you at the Camp Nou. Visca the Barça, always".
