It is not often that a car engine, no matter how modern and advanced, serves as inspiration to create a unique collection of jewelry. This has been possible thanks to Renault's collaboration with the Spanish designer Laura Ponte. The objective of such an unusual project is twofold. On the one hand, pay tribute to the E-Tech full hybrid engine of the Renault Austral, manufactured by Spanish engineers at the Valladolid plant, and on the other, hold an auction with the jewelry and allocate the profits to university scholarships (Fundación Universidad Carlos III) to promote female talent.
The sophisticated collection of jewels is indeed inspired by real parts of the E-Tech full hybrid engine, which allows electric driving 80% of the time in the city and can also be considered a jewel of technology. The collection is made up of six jewels, unique pieces, and is made up of a bracelet, a pair of rings, cufflinks, earrings, a brooch and a bracelet.
