The Latin Recording Academy will announce this Tuesday, September 20, the nominees for the 23rd annual Latin Grammy Awards, which this year will be held at the Michelob Ultra Arena at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.
The announcement can be seen live at 6:00 p.m. (at 9:00 a.m. local time) in a special broadcast through the official website of the awards and on the academy's social networks, as in previous years.
One more year the expectation is maximum to find out who will be the musicians, producers and other artistic personalities who will compete for the coveted award in their respective category. This Tuesday the main categories will be announced, such as Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Recording of the Year, New Artist, among a total of 53 categories that will be awarded this year.
The artists that can be nominated are those who published or released their works between June 1, 2021 and May 31, 2022. Another requirement is that the songs must have a minimum percentage of lyrics in Spanish, Portuguese or in any of the indigenous dialects of the region.
