LaLiga denounces the possible fixing of a Copa del Rey match last season

LaLiga has filed a complaint with the National Police Center for Integrity in Sport and Betting for an alleged rigging in the match between Huracán Melilla and Levante corresponding to the first round of the Copa del Rey last season, in December of 2021, which ended with a resounding win for the Valencians (0-8).

The possible fraud, which is already being investigated in the Investigating Court No. 2 of Melilla, reached the ears of the employer thanks to the information provided through an email by an "anonymous informant". The ongoing process has already had the testimony before the courts of six people, all of them related to the Melilla club.

In turn, LaLiga has clarified that the Che team is "completely oblivious to these investigated facts."
