The digital ecosystem is full of information of great value, but the challenge for small and medium-sized companies is to give it an adequate treatment, with the aim of boosting their business. Never before has it been so important to treat all this data in a safe, efficient and profitable way for organizations, which increasingly use more and more intangible assets to create value.
In order for SMEs to manage data efficiently, and after the success of the first two days of the Pymesconnect cycle of meetings, La Vanguardia and Pimec have come together again to organize a third training meeting, which closes the Cycle of Meetings on Digitization and Technology for SMEs. The event will be held next Thursday, October 27, starting at 4:30 p.m. in the Torre Glòries auditorium in Barcelona.
The event, sponsored by Banco Sabadell and Telefónica, will have the participation of top experts. Among them will be the president of the Punt.cat Foundation, Genís Roca; the director of the IDEAI - UPC Research Center, Karina Gibert; the Director of Analytics and Artificial Intelligence of Banco Sabadell, Luis Echávarri; the manager of Empresas de Telefónica in Catalonia, Marta Simelio; and the Director of Technology and Innovation of PIMEC, Andreu Bru. The general director of ACEC, Jordi Marín, will moderate the meeting.
The session will be divided into three blocks. The first will be composed of the presentations of the experts. In the second part, a discussion table will be opened with the same specialists. After the question time, a final presentation will be made, in which it will be explained how companies can access a grant of up to 12,000 euros from the Digital Kit and thus put the knowledge learned into practice. To finish there will be a new round of questions and a networking cocktail.
Among other issues, the specialists will explain and reflect on the trends and challenges faced by small and medium-sized companies in the field of data management. It will detail why it is essential for SMEs to bet on this technology, which will help them guarantee greater transparency and security, as well as improve decision-making.
The event is scheduled to start at 4:30 p.m. in the Torre Glòries auditorium in Barcelona, but the doors will open at 4:15 p.m. At the end of the meeting, a networking cocktail will be offered to all attendees.
This new session, focused on the efficient management of data in the business environment, is part of the Cycle of Meetings on Digitization and Technology for SMEs (Pymesconnect), organized by La Vanguardia and Pimec, an initiative that was born with the aim of helping SMEs and freelancers in the digitization process that lies ahead.
In the two previous meetings, all issues related to the digitization of business organizations have been addressed, as well as other emerging problems or challenges: connectivity, cybersecurity, software, etc.
