"Do you want Junts to continue to be part of the Government of Catalonia?" Is the question that JxCat will ask its militants to make a statement in a consultation on the continuity of their training in the Catalan Executive, according to what Europa Press has advanced and they have confirmed to La Vanguardia sources consulted.

Thus, a simple and clear formula has been chosen, since it was possible that there would be two questions and another formulation, as some leaders of Junts per Catalunya had pointed out in recent days.

In the consultation there will be an electoral syndicate with four members: the former minister Damià Calvet, now president of the Port of Barcelona, the parliamentary spokesperson, Mònica Sales, the organization secretary, David Torrents, and the head of ranks in the Congress of Deputies, Miriam Nogueras.

The other details about the consultation will be known this afternoon at 5:30 p.m. at the press conference after the management meeting, which started today at 11:00 a.m.

The party's executive met this morning to set the question with which some 6,000 members will tip the balance after the crisis with the Govern's partner, Esquerra, which had been simmering for weeks and ended up exploding last week with the dismissal of Jordi Puigneró as Vice President of the Government. The expulsion of the leader of Junts in the Executive came after Albert Batet, president of the group in Parliament, asked President Pere Aragonès during the general policy debate to submit to a matter of confidence if he does not comply with the agreement that allowed his investiture.

This weekend there were contacts between the two partners at the highest level, between the general secretary of Junts, Jordi Turull, and Aragonès, but they were in vain. Among the demands of JxCat was the reinstatement of Puigneró as vice president and minister, but he himself told the management that this requirement was not necessary and last night Junts withdrew that demand, without serving to highlight the situation.

As a novelty, the minister for External Action and Open Government, Victòria Alsina, who was independent and joined the training this weekend, took part in the executive meeting today. The councilor has defended in recent days the permanence in the Government without restrictions, as have some of her colleagues from JxCat in the Executive Council.
