JxCat propitiates that Aragonès loses the first vote of the Government alone

The opposition has knocked down the first law that has been voted in the Parliament with Pere Aragonès as head of a solitary Government. It was the first pulse that has occurred in the Catalan Chamber since the Palau de la Generalitat has only one tenant, the Esquerra Republicana.

The bill for the statistical plan of Catalonia 2023-2028 has not prospered after the PSC has voted against and Junts per Catalunya, which had defended the matter a few months ago in a preliminary phase and had endorsed its processing until now, have abstained.

The opinion of the Economy and Hisenda commission was approved last week by all the groups except Vox and none had proposed amendments to the bill. It is a symbolic act, on the same day that all the groups that the president has called upon to agree on and approve the various folders that are on the table of his Executive, have remarked to him in one way or another that he is alone, with expressions like "weak", "insignificant" or "absolute minority".

This afternoon the seventh statistical plan that the Parliament has processed was voted on and should have a validity of six years. The objective of the plan was to "strengthen the role and quality of official statistics" and convert the Statistical Institute of Catalonia (Idescat) into a strategic node of information, also at the service of scientific research".
